MTU AeroEngines develops and manufactures engine solutions for aircraft, including major components for passenger aircraft engines and for the engines powering the Eurofighter and A400M.
Together with the German Aerospace Center (DLR), MTU AeroEngines is performing a research project aiming to develop a fuel-cell-powered electric aircraft engine. With this development, MTU is breaking new ground in several areas – both technologically and in terms of its role as a development company for aerospace systems.
Thaurion supports MTU in defining system development processes in line with the ARP4754A standard, and in formalizing the collaboration with the development partner DLR and component suppliers.
